Whoever Confronted our Brother

Here, Inshallahshaheed tells us about how someone confronted one if its writers, Sameer Khan who gave the interview to the New York Times. Well, this time I’m addressing that guy. Mister, let’s analyze what you have done.

You didn’t give salams to him when you greeted him which is consistent with your pushing him twice to provoke him. You never met him before as he said he’s never seen you before yesterday at his Jumuah. Still you approached him in anger because he did nothing more than tell a journalist what is in Qur’an and sunnah. According to Khan, you said to him these words; “at work, I face all this s*** because of you!” Right there, I have a question for you; what did you tell your harassers at your job who so arrogantly think Allah doesn’t own His own creation?! Did you stand up to them at all? Or did you take it with patience and then turn to Khan to get in his face with no patience?! Did you know that Muhammad did not compromise or hide any revelation from the Meccans to keep away mistreatment and displeasure from other Muslims? Did you know that since now permission is given to fight those who fight us on account of our religion that you don’t have to bear the mistreatment at work and you are allowed to break their noses or even cave their skulls in and be done with them?! I realize that the police will arrest you and the judge will sentence you (if they can catch you). So I’m not asking you to actually do that and go to jail. What I’m referring to is what the Shariah has to say about it. They confront you on account of your religion. So whatever retaliation you can afford will not be held against you on the Day of Questioning. So why not stand up to them and leave Khan alone? The least you can do is tell them to shut up and go sit down and leave you alone, and in turn you leave Khan alone! Not to mention you should not be surprised, you should have seen the writing on the wall even before September 11! No matter who really did it, it was Muslims credited with bringing down the towers and bruising the Pentagon, and it is known that your county is a racist nation. Just months before the attacks, your government under Bush had joined Israel and refused to attend a conference against racism that was held in South Africa! You knew a long time ago that a corrupt and hateful country like yours would be attacked and that the arrogant yankees you want to like you would not accept you! You might be an intelligent person in all other aspects of your life, but you are a plum fool if you think you can have a comfortable life right there in the heart of anti-Islam while really practicing your Islam seriously!! You might as well go and fornicate, get baptized into a church, put a crucifix around your neck, pull a gun and blow out your brains right there in the baptismal pool!… and then tell Allah that you deserve Paradise because you went through difficulty at your job for being a Muslim! Tell Allah why you think he should overlook how you apostatized and killed yourself to escape it! You’re no smarter than than my 1 year old cousin who has to be grabbed and held tightly every time he is outdoors close to a street because he thinks he can run across it carelessly at will! He is smarter than you because at least he will learn better as he grows up! You are an adult and still think you can have jannah with no sacrifices!

Next thing, you’re actually no different than the other weak Muslims that will turn on each other on Judgment Day. Each of you will be upset with the other for discouraging acts that would have made Judgment Day go easier on you. You might think “Khan’s not using hikmah, he’s being rash!” Not at all! Hikmah is seeing that Islam deserves the dominance. Hikmah is seeing that honor and dignity belong to Allah and he only shares it with the believers and the righteous and those who strive in his sabil. (63:8) Lack of hikmah is looking for a way to get to paradise without hardships. It’s like looking to ascend a mountain with out the uphill climb! Where is the hikmah in that? You are trying to discourage a brother from drawing the line between truth and falsehood, and that is why you remind me of Daniel Pipes more than a Muslim. He knows the religion even though he rejects it. He hates how Allah is confrontational with falsehood in his Qur’an he revealed. He hates how Muslim women are kept away from and unlawful to the kaffir men. Those are just why he calls for the compromises and changes to the religion and advocates deportation of all Muslims who don’t agree to make those changes. Changes that actually mean ridda from Islam! I’m not calling you a kaffir, I’m calling you a compromiser until you stop it, which I really hope you do. But as it is now Abdullah El-Faisal said in his lecture I took my name from that whoever revives the teachings of walaa wal baraa will be vilified for it! After I heard that lecture I saw how one Muslim called him insane on his blog. Then I saw another write that he knew people who had met him and they said he was insane! But he’s clearly sane when you listen to him! That’s what they said about Muhammad, too! (Salallahu alaihi wa salam.) They called him a mad man! Both of the ones who said Abdullah El-Faisal was crazy are openly murji (liberal), so I had to discredit what they say with or without hearing El-Faisal. Then, yesterday, you got up in Khan’s face and called him demented two times! In your blind anger you still likened Khan to Muhammad (saws) by calling him demented and blaming him for the consequences of telling the truth! You didn’t even mean to do that and yet you did. How does that feel?

Third, you didn’t punk him because his father came up and stopped you! That’s not running him off! You were just restrained, that’s all! Call a spade a spade! If you have children then you know you won’t run and hide once you see someone confront them. You sound like you’re just frustrated because you thought Khan would be easy to beat and you were stopped from fighting him! Before you try to call him a punk you should answer this question. Are you bigger than him? Did you perceive a real physical challenge when you touched him? If you estimate a chance of you losing the fight and you still confronted him I won’t call you a coward. But by the same token if you feel confident you could have won then you’re only a coward for going to him at all. Especially if you haven’t stood up to your harassers at work. In the English-speaking islands we call people like that a nice name I won’t repeat but it has to do with female reproduction. Many a boy like that has gotten beat up because they search for the easy fight and get a surprise! I’d hate to see that happen to you in front of people who know what is your religion.

Maybe if you just go and ask Khan politely for what evidence he’s coming from then you might learn a lot. He already said he’s not holding a grudge so you should be able to approach him nicely now and learn something. It would be a shame on you for me to learn more from him sitting in the Bahamas than you might learn sitting in the same masjid as he.

Dajjal Consumers

Salam alaykum to the Muslims, believers, and muhsineen.

On my last business trip to America, I visited South Florida as usual. This time, I ran into another Muslim there, who was from New York City. He told me how he had been struggling with his religion because he was on the board of his masjid there and was tired of the store-owning Muslims calling the shots because of their money which they only made from selling alcohol and other haraam things. He vented to me for hours about this, so I guess he had been really bottling up a lot for a long time. He had been frustrated by them every time he suggested an idea or suggested to bring in a khateeb who would “enjoin the right and forbid the wrong”. And the store and shop owners would always oppose him because he suggested khateebs who would have hurt their feelings for selling what they sell. “That’s the whole point of why I’m suggesting them! I want one that will say something, even if it’s about something I’m doing wrong! Why can’t they see that?”

When the businees conference ended, I went and asked some of the Muslim friends of mine in the US about why so many of them have businesses that sell things forbidden by Allah. The answers I got gave me insight into one more thing; why some Muslims believe that the average American, Briton,or European is not an innocent person to be left alone. If a Muslim open sup a business in America doesn’t sell any haraam, they cannot survive and they go out of business. I was told of about 2 cases just in the last 2 years.

This means that it’s the average American that is the problem. I recall Zawahiri years ago saying that Americans in general are at fault because they vote for their leaders and pay taxes to their government. But there is also another election going on in the convenience stores and gas stations of America, voting with the dollars. It makes me wonder why no one has said this before, but if the Muslim shop owners can’t stay in business without selling the haraam, it means the consumers have become little dajjals themselves. Why? Well, they use what little power they have to force Muslim retailers into a choice similar to what the Major Dajjal will give the Muslims with his power; deen or dunya, but not both. The customer walks into a gas station and asks for lottery tickets. The retailer says he doesn’t sell lottery tickets, so then the customer asks for some Marlboros. The shop owner doesn’t sell those, either and he says so. The customer, standing in the middle of a store full of snacks and beverages will say “You ain’t got nothin’, man!” and then walk out frustrated. By not buying something useful that the shop owner does sell, he votes with his dollar. He’ll buy his basic necessities elsewhere, but he won’t buy them from that Muslim retailer. I know because when I learned about the quandary the Muslim shop owners are in, I sat with one and watched this happen. He sold every haraam, and that was almost all the customers asked for. They only purchased soft drinks or snacks if they were buying some cigarettes with them, or maybe some pornographic material at night time. They were like little anti-christ-wanna-bes in training, dangling the money and offering it only in exchange for what a Muslim should not even have in possession. That’s just what the Dajjal will tell the Muslims when he appears. Worship me and follow me so you can have in abundance, or else worship Allah but you’ll have to starve!

Not that my island country is much better, but I was very relieved to get back home and away from the US. All the people really want from Muslims there is the haraam to begin with! They only want Muslims in the country to have someone behind the counter to sell them intoxicants and pornography and lottery. They’ll boycott a Muslim if he opens a business that doesn’t sell haraam things. One lady opened up a shop selling nothing but clothes for Muslim women. Even Muslim women came in and asked where she was keeping the tank tops and mini-skirts! They should not have asked her for these things and they had the nerve to be surprised she didn’t carry them!

So, the average consumer votes with the dollars against the Muslim and this is why I started looking at Americans with a little more disdain than other nationalities of kuffar. But the same goes for ‘American Muslims’. I look at the flag-waving American Muslims with less love than I have for other Muslims because they don’t care what compromises they have to make to get by in America! I don’t even know why they continue to go there from other countries so much when they know they’ll have to compromise their religion to get by. Not just sometimes or when they’re getting a license in a government office, but every day every time they get a customer! Remember another blogger telling us how he worked for a Muslim jeweler, and they couldn’t sell jewelry because all the customers wanted were gold teeth?! It got so bad, that the jeweler’s imam at the masjid said it was halal to sell gold jewelry or even teeth to men as long as they weren’t Muslim. That falls short of the meaning enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong! But if that jeweler didn’t sell it, he’d starve. When I asked him about it, that imam himself had some businesses that he shouldn’t have before he sold them! So I’m not going to exonerate the Muslims who are tied to Americanism and the American dream, giving up their Islam for it!

The only reason I’m not telling Muslims to start robbing those Yankee kuffar blind is that they shouldn’t have made anti-hijrah to the US to start with! If it weren’t for that then I’d be telling them to resort to armed robbery to supplement their incomes if the Yankee consumers continue in a sense to boycott Muslim-owned businesses that don’t sell foolishness! Little wanna-be dajjals deserved to get robbed in the first place, anyway! This is why I hope and pray the natural disasters continue to plague that nation until its economy is hit and the Yankees are poor and have to go to other countries to work in sweat shops for a living!

Apostates like Ali Sina

I won’t give his url to the audience and help him get more exposure like that, but I’ll gladly tell you about him. The historic Ali Sina was someone else, Abu Ali Ibn Sina, also called Avicenna. This modern day Ali Sina is a self-proclaimed apostate who dedicates himself to helping Muslims apostatize. He says it himself;

“Faith Freedom International is a grassroots movement of ex-Muslims. Its goals are to (a) unmask Islam and show that it is an imperialistic ideology akin to Nazism but disguised as religion and (b) to help Muslims leave it, end this culture of hate caused by their “us” vs. “them” ethos and embrace the human race in amity. We strive for the unity of Mankind through the elimination of Islam, the most insidious doctrine of hate. Islam can’t be reformed, but it can be eradicated. It can’t be molded, but it can be smashed. It is rigid but brittle. That is why Muslims do not tolerate criticism of it. To eradicate Islam, all we have to do is tell the truth. It’s that simple. Truth about Islam is out. It’s all here in this site. Now it is up to you to spread it. With truth, the decent Muslims will leave Islam and with each Muslim that leaves, we gain a new soldier in our fight against terrorism. We are growing exponentially. The days of Islam are numbered and world peace is around the corner. Many of us will see that day. We might have to go through very tough times meanwhile. The storm is approaching.”

Ali, if you feel like this, why don’t you change your name, then? Why is it still Ali? You’re a disgrace to any name associated with Islam, and you’re not even this way accidentally but intentionally. And then you promote this to others, so expect Allah to keep his promise to burn you forever should you die in that state. See, you’re right about one thing, you can’t reform Islam. But you’re wrong again; you can’t eradicate it, either. You can’t even eradicate me, you don’t know where I am even though I am only in one place at any time. How can you eradicate a religion people WANT, in various places at any given time! People leave every other religion on earth and accept Islam in larger numbers than people like you who leave Islam and become lower than cattle for disbelieving after they have believed.

Ali by himself isn’t important, it’s the support he will soon get. Mark these words, which are not mine but Allah’s speech. 2:120. “Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion.”
4:89 “They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Auliyâ’ (protectors or friends) from them, till they emigrate in the Way of Allâh (to Muhammad SAW). But if they turn back (from Islâm), take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them, and take neither Auliyâ’ (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them.”

And my response to Ali is 33:23-25.
33:23 Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least;
33:24 That Allah may reward the true men for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He will, or relent toward them (if He will). Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
33:25 And Allah repulsed the disbelievers in their wrath; they gained no good. Allah averted their attack from the believers. Allah is ever Strong, Mighty.

Ali, I’m inviting you to come back to Islam before Allah sends the angel of death to collect you and tear you from your body. Allah isn’t just promising you an eternal torment, He is also promising you debasement in this life before hand. Likewise Allah promises to accept you back if you return sincerely. Until you return to Islam, you’re just a wimp who found out that Islam involved confrontation with those who oppose Allah and decided to sell out instead of confronting wrong and enjoining right. If an Islamic state forms anywhere in the world even if it’s only two square blocks somewhere in New York City, and they catch you, they don’t have a choice but to execute you.

But hey, there are weak Muslims in our ranks who want to compromise Islam and change it, so at least you already did what I always tell them to do; leave Islam openly and find them another religion. By removing weaklings like you from us, we don’t just get stronger because you left, you prove to everyone what we already know; that the war on terror is actually a war on Islam by another name.

Walaa wal Baraa Award Goes to Inshallahshaheed

In the blogosphere, a lot of fuss has been made about Inshallahshaheed and his blog(s). He’s been instrumental in reviving the teachings about walaa wal baraa, the seventh and paramount condition of the shahadah by which we become Muslim. This generation of Muslims was almost completely sucked into the Westernized Islam of our parents who think they can spread Islam to the people by working with Habitat for Humanity and smiling at the kuffar as they denounce ‘harsh Islam’. While he’s not the only one, he is certainly at the forefront of its revival even when his blogs get closed down by the agents of the matrix, the blog administrators. Ever since his interview with Michael Moss of the New York Times, My Pet Jawa run by Rusty Shackleford has been crying about how he had Inshallahshaheed’s real name all along and his picture to go with it but he was keeping it under wraps because the FBI told him to. Oh really? Is that why you bragged that you were the force behind his other blogs being shut down? And yet still he re-surfaced and kept it up.

Not that I would have given my name in an interview but Inshallahshaheed has some serious walaa wal baraa and he wasn’t too scared to show it! The whole time we’re scared to tell the truth about Islam to our neighbors and bosses and whoever else asks us because we want their approval. Forgetting about 2:120 in the Qur’an, I see. Yet Inshallahshaheed not only remembered the verse but he implemented it to the frustration of the cross-worshippers even when Muslims opposed him. Oh yes, the Muslims at hadithuna shut down his blog right after it came up even though wordpress kept his original blog up for years. To you so-called Muslims who condemn the real men among us, it’s my pleasure to give you the Uncle Tom Scared Muslim Award for the year 2007. And because of the work and sacrifices of Inshallahshaheed while the rest of us sell out and do nothing, it is my pleasure to give the 2007 Walaa wal Baraa Award to Inshallahshaheed as well as the 33:23 Award.

What is the 33:23 award, you ask? Read Surah 33, verse 23 to find out. “Among the believers there are men who have been true to the contract they ratified with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pact, while some are still waiting to do so, not having faltered in any way at all. ” It’s my pleasure to call Inshallahshaheed a real man and a brother in Islam alongside every other Muslim man who has stayed steadfast fee sabeelillah. Some of them we know by name, some we don’t. Not to leave out the sisters either who are strong and make sacrifices other women never would.

Inshallahshaheed, you haven’t flinched a bit and you have spoken a word of truth even when it’s unsafe. Please step up and accept the award on behalf of the real men of the ummah.

A Word on Baraa

Abdullah El-Faisal has received a little attention in the last few months and so I have come to know of him and listened to his lectures. Shukran to Gulf Coast African Lion and Inshallahshaheed for their references to him. Here is what he had to say about Baraa against the mushrikeen. (Baraa capitalized due to its importance today as a missing part of deen.)“We shall look at Islamic history to see how the Sahabah practised al Walaa wal Baraa. At the battle of Badr, ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) killed his own uncle; this is Baraa in its highest form.
Mus’ab ibn ‘Umayr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) had a Kafir brother called Azeez who was fighting against the Muslims and was held captive. So Mus’ab was running towards him, and his brother became happy at this, but when Mus’ab came he said, “Tie him tight, his mother is rich and in Makkah, and she can afford to buy his freedom.” Azeez was bewildered and said, “How can you speak like that Mus’ab?! We came from the same womb; you’re my brother!” Mus’ab said, “No you are wrong, you are not my brother. You are a Kafir; he is my brother.” And he pointed to another Muslim who was standing by.
This is called al-Walaa wal Baraa – now you know why the Sahabah were successful.
At the same battle, the Prophet’s Uncle ‘Abbas was held captive. The Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said to not give him any favouritism treatment, and instead to treat him like all the other captives. ‘Abbas said, “I was forced to come to fight (against you), and I didn’t want to come and fight.” But Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said to still treat him like all the other Kafireen and to charge the same amount of money to ransom him.
In the same battle, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq’s (radiyallahu ‘anhu) son said, “Father, I saw you on two occasions in the battle, and if I wanted to I could have killed you. But I didn’t because of my love for you.” Did his father cosy up to him and said Thank you and gave him a hug and kiss? No, on the contrary, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (radiyallahu ‘anhu) spoke from his great Iman saying, “By Allah in whose hand is my life, if I had opportunity to see you just once I would have killed you!” Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (radiyallahu ‘anhu) was speaking to his own son that came from his own loins – this is called al-Walaa wal Baraa. Now you know why the Sahabah were successful.”

And then Shaykh goes on to say;

“If we look at gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar, we see that hey spread red carpets for the Kafireen that come out of USA and UK, and they receive red carpet treatment because they carry an American passport. These countries don’t ask themselves the question of whether the person is Christian, Jew, homosexual, Atheist, agnostic etc., they don’t ask themselves these questions. Do you ever ask yourself, ‘Is he a Muslim firmly grounded in Iman, and not a hypocrite but a true Muslim’ before you spread the red carpet for him?
They did not see it necessary to ask themselves these questions. They give more pay to the Kafireen in these Gulf countries just because of the passport. So you as a Muslim may have the same qualifications or more, but they give more pay to the Kafireen. This is happening in modern Riyadh, Jeddah and many other Muslim lands. In fact, Muslims coming out of India, Pakistan, and Africa are badly treated in ‘Arab (Muslim) lands; and when the Kafireen come from Europe and America, they are properly treated. Is this al-Walaa wal Baraa? This is the opposite to what the Sahaba did.
The Sikhs and Hindus are raping Muslim girls in Kashmir but they don’t need to rape Muslim girls here in the UK as many Muslim girls are cohabiting with Hindus and Sikhs. Sikhs and Hindus are raping Muslim sisters who are your mothers, grandmothers, aunts, yet you find some Muslims who love them more than black people who are Muslims or ‘Arab Muslims. You will find Black people loving Black Kafireen and calling them ‘my black brother’ more than an Asian or ‘Arab Muslim.
Unfortunately as an Ummah today, we do not practice Al-Walaa wal Baraa and the Kafireen know it and absolute love it!  The Kafireen are not stupid as they are intelligent although they are not wise. The Kafireen know Islamic history and they compare us to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, to ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, to Ali ibn Abi Taalib (radiyallahu ‘anhum) and what do they see? They see true believers then and hypocrites now. They know that we love them (i.e., the kafireen) more than we love each other. We love them so much that the so-called Muslim leaders see the Muslims starving in Ethiopia, Africa, Asia and they turn a blind eye to the starving Muslims and send money to feed animals n the London zoo. They don’t support the Muslims that are starving and are dying because of it, but they rush in support to help the Kafireen after Hurricane Katrina smashes New Orleans. When Euro Disney was in a money roblem, they (Apostate leaders) sent £600,000 to rescue it; to rescue Mickey Mouse!
Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) says, Lo! You are those who love them, but they love you not; though you believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, “We believe;” But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: “Perish in you rage; Allah knows well all the secrets of the heart.” (ali’-Imraan: 119)
So Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) is establishing the hujjah on you. If we really claim to love Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) then why is it that we love the enemies of Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa)? This is pure hypocrisy.
Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) says in regards to al-Walaa wal Baraa, Muhammad is the apostle of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against the Kuffar, (and) are Merciful amongst each other. (al-Fath: 29)
Another proof that we haven’t practiced al-Walaa wal Baraa is the onslaught that took place in Bosnia. When the holocaust was going on in Bosnia, they showed on CNN a Muslim girl married to a Serb; Muslim girls used to cohabit with Serbs and used to sit down with Serbs and eat pork and wash it down with vodka. Where is al-Walaa wal Baraa? The same Serbs whom they drunk wine with and cohabit with, as soon as they said they wanted Bosnia, they slaughtered them.
The Kafireen will always be Kafireen. Every Kafir will find a time to make you feel ashamed of your religion or become apologetic about your religion. This is why you should not take them as even friends!
Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) has said their hearts are alike; so whoever seeks to revive the concept of al-Walaa wal Baraa, it means he is trying to bring back ‘Izzah – honour to the Muslims. The moment you have al-Walaa wal Baraa, the Kafireen lose their grip of you, their domination over you and what ends up happening is that you retrieve your power, your Iman and hence your victory and glory.
So any one who seeks to revive the concept of al-Walaa wal Baraa in the Ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam), he will be slandered, and will be hated just like his beloved Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) who was slandered and hated greatly by the Kafireen and those with them.
The first time I gave a speech on this topic, I had enemies from all walks of life when the cassette was released; not from the Kafireen – it was Muslims! It was like I dropped a bomb in the community and all I was doing was telling the people to love and hate for the sake of Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) – that you love a person for the sake of Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) and you hate him if he is an enemy of Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa). And I quoted from Qur’an and Sunnah. So don’t argue with me, I didn’t reveal the Qur’an; Allah (Subhaanu wa Ta’alaa) revealed the Qur’an, so if you can’t handle the Qur’an, then sort it out with Allah on Judgement Day and not me as I didn’t reveal the Qur’an and I am only transmitting that which is in the Qur’an.”

To hell with the so-called Muslims who spoke against Abdullah Faisal for reviving walaa wal baraa! They deserve a sound beating, in the Bahamas, England, US or wherever you find them! Muslims stop honoring kuffar and trying to cozy up to them! And judge them by their attitudes towards Islam, not by superficial things like their money or their status. Stop trying to win over the harshest of the kuffar with your humility. That doesn’t impress them! Behave like a people who expect to be opposed for being on the right path! What’s wrong with you?
Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy – evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it; so
leave them and their inventions alone. (al-An’am: 112) Do we know what this means? It means Allah promises us enemies! So behave like it and prepare for them! Put on your game face, and save your respect and humility for those who show a respect for Allah’s deen and its establishment on this earth! There are kuffar with more baraa against corruption than many Muslims, and they’re willing to die despite the fire waiting on them while we have a hope of Paradise and are scared of every little discomfort! They’re the brave, and we’re the cowards. They have more walaa and baraa than we do, and they don’t even have Islam and tauheed.

Imitating the Disbelievers

My favorite point of the lecture is that if the ways of disbelievers are appealing to you, you suffer from feelings of inferiority for being Muslim. Some of you modernists and moderates and Sufis think that converts who imitate the cultures of the Muslims they meet are pathetic. A Briton or a Canuck who declares his shahada and then takes on Arab ways is sure to be derided by you. By the same coin I always thought that Muslims who imitate the kuffar were pathetic. Walaa wal Baraa is the main topic.

No Jihad Without a Khilafa?

To that statement I ask this question; how do we bring about a khilafa without jihad?

All the inter-faith we need…

“What have you learned about Islam?”
“If you already know about Islam, do you wish to accept it?”
“If you don’t know much, can I answer questions you have about Islam?”
“Can I refer you to the answers?”
“Now, do you wish to accept it? If not, then why and what can I clear up for you?”

Once we inform and invite to Islam, we have done what we can do. The listener accepts Islam and becomes one of us or remains on shirk. We’re not responsible for the results.

There is no need for us to hold hands with Jews and Christians and try to combine our faiths. Jews ignore their Torah and insult our Messiah, alayhi salaam. Christians ignore the Injeel and worship him. They should be at each other’s throats like the old days in Europe, killing each other off and each side begging us for help. Instead they have ganged up on us poor Muslims. We owe them no more than to invite them to Allah. The sycophantics we add to it is unnecessary and detrimental if anything. This is the quintessential reaction to dawah devoid of walaa wal baraa.

If they say “I know the Muslims are slaughtered, but…”

Unfortunately, many times we find our brothers and sisters speaking from their hawā’ (corrupted desires) regarding our bloodied brothers, raped sisters, and our horrendously injured children with a lashing tongue or an insincere and unconcerned language. When the cruel oppression of the Muslims is mentioned to them and they are asked as to what the solution is, we find that they give an answer that is everything except Jihād with the brisk rifle. In some cases, we even find them twisting the solution away from warfare by mentioning the plight of the oppressed Muslims with tears in their eyes! Lā Howla wala Quwatta illa billāh!

Therefore my dear Muwāhhid, may Allāh reward you and protect you, when somebody says to you, “I know that the Muslims are being slaughtered in ‘Irāq, Afghānistān… but the solution is…” cut him off immediately. Normally, we shouldn’t cut off our beloved brothers and sisters in the middle of their sentences; but know that the word “but” or anything similar to it is a negation of what was stated beforehand. And for one to make a negation of the common answer – which is the divinely ordained Qitāl – to the extreme oppression is a form of great negligence and this attitude only deserves an intense rebuke from the Lord, The Most High, such as,

And what is the matter with you that you do not fight in the cause of Allāh and for the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?” (An-Nisā’ (4): 75)

Yes, cut him off with the sharp sword of truth: make him feel the deep gashes of the Muslims; make him feel as if his blood is being poured from the wounds, and make him feel that his tears are unanswered like the tears of the oppressed. Make your words harsh enough for them to feel emotional and snap out of the “anti-emotional” phase that the Kuffār love for them to be in! However, be careful of showing complete Barā’ah. The Shaykh, Abū ‘Āsim Muhammad al-Maqdisī (may Allāh free him), said, “And no matter how stern we are towards our monotheist (Muwāhhid) brothers, who have strayed from the correct path, and no matter how sternly we may be in advising them, and the refutation of their paths, which oppose the path of the Prophets, the Muslim with another Muslim, is just as Shaykh Al-Islām (Ibn Taymiyyah) said: Like the two hands, one washes the other, and it is possible that the removal of dirt would, at times, requires scrubbing. But its objective is to be praised, because the intent is the preservation of the wellbeing of both hands and their cleanliness. And we do not seek, at any instance during these occasions, to allow the complete disavowal (Barā’ah) of them, because the Muslim’s right of his brother is the right of allegiance, which is not cut off (completely) except due to apostasy and the leaving of the realm of Islām. (Millat Ibrāhīm, pg. 44)

So to such people – and let them take notice with a heart that can see and a mind that can comprehend – we say to them:

“Ittaqillāh Yā Akhī! Stop right there! Walāhī, you must know that the answer was already given to us from above the seven heavens! And if you deny such an answer from Him, then why haven’t you stepped on His book?! How can you dare say such a thing when the Rabb of the heavens and the earth has revealed: And what is the matter with you that you do not fight in the cause of Allāh…? And no my dear brother, Lā Akhī! Allāh Subhānahu Wa Ta’āla did not stop there! Know that not only did He rebuke those who abandoned Jihād with the sword in His Noble Cause with this āyah, but He also rebukes those who abandoned Jihād in the Cause of Allāh for the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper!” (4:75) So where have you gone with your ‘Aqīdah?! Have you decided to make the naql (text) follow your ‘aql (intellect)? How is it that your Manhaj (methodology) is something which is other than what Allāh has prescribed?! Don’t you at least feel some shame in your heart for your words when you make them equal with the words of Ar-Rabb al-‘Ālamīn when He said: Fight in the way of Allāh against those who fight you…? (2:190) Yā Akhī! How would you like it if these Kāfir soldiers broke into your house, killed your adorable children, raped your wife whilst you were forced to watch? A man becomes no more than an indolent child if he were to abandon defending his honor, family, and household! So how then, Yā Akhī, can you say such a thing about your nation, your Ummah, when Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu ‘alayhī wassallam) said as narrated in the Sahīhayn (Bukhārī & Muslim), “The example of the believers in their affection and compassion and benevolence is like the body; if one part of it becomes ill the whole body comes to its aid with fever and sleeplessness”? How can you not become emotional for this Ummah after knowing this hadīth? How is it possible to practice this hadīth despite the fact that you are absent of emotions?! Yā Akhī! Don’t ever allow yourself to fall into the trap of those who wished for the ordainment of Jihād to come much later although it was already prescribed, as a part of the Sharī’ah of al-Islām, till the Day of Judgment; they were those who said: “Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed it for us for a short time!” (4:77) Those who say similar words today – such as the ones who look for other solutions than Jihād against the transgressors – are only weak in their belief of the Ākhira since Allāh continued in this āyah: The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. How then can one be on the right path when they abandon the direction that takes them to Shahādah?! Don’t be so quick to forget that Allāh ‘Azza wa Jall will never ever reveal again the āyah: Fighting has been prescribed upon you while it is hateful to you… (2:216) simply because He is testing us with this āyah! He is testing us to see if we actually believe in this commandment of Jihād just as we believe in the commandment of: Fasting has been prescribed upon you… (2:183) So do you read the Qur’ān with an open heart that wishes to be guided or a heart which wishes to stay upon its misguidance and hawā’?! Yā Akhī! Where did you toss your Tawakkul in Allāh ‘Azza wa Jall?! But whoever relies upon Allāh – then indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise. (8:49) So fear Allāh in regards to this matter and know that the only solution acceptable in His eyes is the obligation which He ordained for this situation!”

The Rank of the Belief in Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’

The belief in Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ occupies a meritorious rank in the Islamic Aqeedah. This can be understood from the following reasons:

Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ is part of the Shahadah (testimony of faith) that being ‘La ilaha’ which is the portion from ‘La ilaha illallah’. This means to be free and immune from all that is worshiped besides Allah (s.w.t.) as He the Almighty states:

“And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): ‘Worship Allah (alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, ie. do not worship Taghut besides Allah)” (16:36).

The eminent creed of Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ is the strongest bond of Iman. Al-Barra’ bin A’aazeb (r.a.a.) narrates that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “The strongest bond of Iman is the love for Allah’s sake and the hatred for Allah’s sake” (Reported by Imam Ahmad).

It is one of the basis by which the heart can experience the beauty of Iman and absolute assurance. The Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “Whoever possesses the following three (qualities) will have the sweetness (delight) of faith: The one to whom Allah and His Messenger become dearer than anything else, who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake, and who hates to revert to atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire”. [Bukhary and Muslim]

It is the foundation by which all relationships and dealings in a Muslim community is built upon as described by the Prophet (s.a.w.): “None of you will have faith till he likes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself” (Bukhari), and by Wisdom of the Almighty: “The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion)” (49:10).

The great and abundant reward is due to those who are characterised by the love of each other for the sake of Allah (s.w.t.). The Prophet (s.a.w.) articulates: “Those who love me will be (standing) upon pulpits made of light on the day of Resurrection”. He (s.a.w.) also said: “There will be seven (categories of people) for whom Allah will Shed (Protect) under His Shade, when there will not be any shade except His”, one of those categories is “Two men who loved each other for Allah’s sake. They congregate for His Sake, and they separate for His Sake”.

It is the most powerful tie or relationship that links between people. Allah (s.w.t.) has given it the precedence and priority over all types of ties by Asserting:

“Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause, then wait until Allah brings about His Decision (torment). And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqun (the rebellious, disobedient to Allah)” (9:24).

It is by the means of the creed of Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ that Allah grants His Walayah (the protection, power, authority and kingdom). Ibn Jareer reports the saying of Ibn Abbas (r.a.a.): “He who loves for Allah’s sake and hates for Allah’s sake, he who gives Muwalat (support, help, etc.) for Allah’s sake and exhibits enmity for Allah’s sake, will attain Allah’s Walayah”.

The relationship of Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ will be theonone to remain on the Day of Reckoning as foretold by Allah the All-Knowing:

“When those who were followed, disown (declare themselves innocent of) those who followed (them), and they see the torment, then all their relations will be cut off from them” (2:166).

He who loves other than Allah and His Religion and hates Him (s.w.t.), His Religion or followers is a definite disbeliever,

“And if any amongst you takes them (Jews and Christians) as Awliya’, then surely he is one of them” (5:51).

The Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ is an integral part of Iman and is necessary for its perfection. In a Hadith: “He who loves for Allah’s pleasure, hates for Allah’s pleasure, donates for Allah’s sake and deprives for Allah’s sake, then that person has perfected his Iman” [Sound Hadith related by Ahmad and Tirmithi]
